ALIEN

Once you've left your hometown, it's never going to be the same upon your return. It's a bitter-sweet thing knowing different cultures. I feel like an alien in the very place I was born, not knowing where my home is anymore.

FEAR

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Attack of the Mutant Veggies

I watched the 1982 cinematic jewel 'Swamp Thing' by Wes Craven the other day... 'Nightmare on Elm Street' was a great horror flick and Freddie is fabulously scary... but seriously, did Craven shoot anything else worth watching? Ok, fine... there's 'Scream' and 'The Hills have Eyes'... and 'The People Under the Stairs'... and 'New Nightmare'... AND 'Music of the Heart' (which makes me cry every time - please don't tell anyone). So, granted... he's not half-bad... why is it then that for every decent film he makes, he seems to spawn ten horrific cinematic abominations? Unfortunately, 'Swamp Thing' belongs to the latter.

Believe it or not... I'm actually trying to colour this one. Ask me how it's going.... It's F@!#*$& HARD! I could blame my shitty software but the truth is that I have no idea what I'm doing. At this pace, I'll still be working on it a couple of years from now.
Now I know why professional comic artists have professional colourists. Colouring SUCKS!

Why is it that, after years of practice, I still cannot draw a decent circle or ellipse? Whywhywhy? Cap's shield looks like it was drawn by a drunk five-year-old. GOSH!!!
